Indian Falls - Owen Sound (Ontario)

Province: Ontario

City: Owen Sound

Indian Falls (Ontario, Canada) is one of the many waterfalls of the Niagara Escarpment.  It is a classic waterfall just outside of Owen Sound. It is absolutely free, including parking lot. Indian Falls is about 15 meters high and vertical water drop.

When you park at Indian Falls Conservation Area you will need to take a walk for about 10 minutes upstream trough the woods. It starts as an easy walk along the Indian Creek riverbed and heads uphill into the woods.

The fall can dry up to a trickle during hot summer. I would recommend to Indian Falls in May or June. It is not the best looking waterfall but it is really nice. You can walk along the Indian Creek River right to the bottom of the Indian Falls to take a shower.
